Monday, April 8th, 2019

For breakfast I made two scrambled eggs and ate about half of one because I hate eggs. The night before I made a salad a caesar salad kit from Albertsons, with shredded parmesan cheese and caesar dressing, with cut up chicken breast. I had ate that for lunch, then for dinner me and my family went out to dinner to see family, while it was a struggle ordering something that stuck with the keto diet as it requires such a low carb count and we had gone out to Thai food. I ordered a vegetarian egg roll as it contains the least amount of carbs on the menu, and to drink I had water. The food tastes really good so far, I have no complaints. After my first day on keto I felt really good, although the cravings for oreos are still going strong.

Tuesday, April 9th, 2019

For breakfast I made myself six pieces of bacon, and ate four, leaving two for my mom. I still had leftover salad from the kit so I ate that for lunch again. My friends at lunch had sandwiches and chips, I definitely felt a little bit of jealousy. Once I got home I ate some raw almonds as an after school snack. The almonds aren’t that filling, but I didn’t need to be stuffed as I had crossfit a few hours later. After I got home from Crossfit I ate a chicken breast covered in pesto with a slice of mozzarella cheese as my dairy of the day. Day two definitely brought upon some challenges as everyone would offer me a bite of their chips or a pack of their applesauce, but I kept strong and stuck to keto. I’m feeling really good about it because I don’t feel so gross after I eat foods.

I literally only ate like 5 cashews, we have no more keto food at home. I’m very, very hungry right now, hoping to go to the store soon.

Thursday, April 11th, 2019

I didn’t eat breakfast as I was late to school in the morning, I also forgot to pack my lunch the night before, so all morning I was so hungry. I got home from school to see that we only had about 7 grapes, and I ate them all. I had CrossFit again that night so after CrossFit me and my mom went to Albertsons and got chicken breast, I make pesto chicken for me, and barbeque chicken for my mom. It was filling as I ate two chicken breasts to make up for my skipped meals. I am craving Oreos so bad right now, but I gotta stay strong. I’ve already noticed a difference on how much I weigh and it hasn’t been a week yet. I’m feeling good about it so far!

Friday, April 12th, 2019

In the morning I ate two scrambled eggs. For lunch I ate leftover chicken from the night before. Once I got home I had to pack my bag for Arizona so I did not get time to eat an after school snack. At the airport I ate a fruit bowl and drank an apple juice, it wasn’t very keto but I really wanted apple juice. On the airplane I drank water and had some grapes from the fruit and cheese platter. Once we landed I didn’t eat anything because it was 10:00 p.m. and I was tired. I really wanted some brie on the plane but I resisted the urge. I’m honestly really hungry all the time now, but I expected this because when I did keto last, I was hungry 24/7.

Saturday, April 13th, 2019

I woke up around 9:00 a.m. and I didn’t eat breakfast or lunch because we had stayed with family and I didn’t want to eat all of their food. We went to the pool and I drank massive amounts of water though, so I wasn’t really hungry. For dinner we went to a Japanese steakhouse like mizu in gig harbor. It was really hard to find a keto option on the menu. I eventually caved in though and ordered filet mignon and fried rice. I honestly don’t regret it because it tasted really good. I’m sure I will regret it later but I don’t right now. I feel good, now that I’m in Arizona I don’t feel hungry all the time like I did in Washington.

Sunday, April 14th, 2019

I woke up and decided that I actually needed to eat breakfast for once. There was not really a lot of keto options in the house we were staying in though. I had to have a little bit of carbs and ate a slice of avocado toast with whole grain bread. After breakfast me and my mom went to the pool where I drank a LOT of water. For dinner me and my mom went to my cousin’s house where they made dinner, so I didn’t get a say in what I had to eat for dinner. For dinner we ate a taco casserole which was so carby but so good so I regret it but not that much. I feel bad for breaking keto so much that day but it tasted really good. I’m feeling okay, I don’t feel healthy, I kinda feel fat? I guess.

Monday, April 15th, 2017

On this day me and my mom went to stay with my great aunt for the rest of the spring break. I didn’t eat anything in the morning, but on the car ride from Buckeye to Mesa we had stopped at a Dutch Bros. Coffee stand and I got a chai tea. It’s not very keto but there was no way that I could live without chai teas. When we arrived at my great aunt’s house we unpacked and got settled, then we were rushed out by my great aunt and went to dinner at 6:00. My great aunt insisted on eating Italian so that’s where we went. We went to olive garden, it was my first olive garden experience since third grade and I had ordered a caesar salad. The salad wasn’t that good either. I don’t really feel hungry so I never know if I’m not getting enough food or not. I feel okay, nothing really new, I feel like myself I guess.

Tuesday, April 16th, 2019

For breakfast I cut up a pear, an apple, and I peeled and orange. I put it into a bowl and sprinkled raspberries on it. I felt so healthy despite the fact that this was hardly keto. Later in the day we went to the Arizona museum of natural history. And after that we ate a dinner at 2:00 in the afternoon because my great aunt insisted that we ate at that time. We went to another Italian restaurant in the San Tan valley, I had a chicken caesar salad and to drink I had a lemonade. It was really filling and it tasted really good. I felt good despite the fact that I had lemonade, I never really feel bad about drinking lemonade because it tastes so good. I felt good about myself for not picking anything on the menu that sounded really good but was loaded with carbs.

Wednesday, April 17th, 2019

The day before we had gone grocery shopping and we bought all kinds of fruit, so for breakfast I made myself a smoothie using almond milk, the smoothie was made from kiwis, blackberries, dragon fruit, and bananas. It was really good. For our lunch/dinner me and my great aunt kept pestering my mom to go to in-n-out burger. I did eat a burger and fries there but it was so good. I felt really bad after but I did not regret it in the moment. I feel good and bad because not only did I have a burger I also had a milkshake and fries, and that was not very keto. But it tasted amazing while it lasted.

Thursday, April 18th, 2019

I did not eat breakfast because I woke up around 10:00 and I don’t get hungry in the mornings. Me and my mom layed by the pool for the first half of the day, then my great aunt dragged us to a very late lunch with my cousin to red Robin. I ordered a salad and a pink lemonade. I drank about 5 glasses of the pink lemonade and ate my entire salad. After that I was too full to eat anything for the rest of the day. I feel alright, I’m just glad I’m staying hydrated because being dehydrated sucks.

Friday, April 19th, 2019

Me and my mom drove to Dunkin donuts where I ordered a coconut caramel iced coffee, it wasn’t very keto but it tasted really good. I didn’t eat anything that morning or afternoon. I just layed by the pool trying to get tan before I had to go home. For dinner me and my mom went to mod Pizza where I unfortunately gave in and ordered a pineapple pizza. It tasted really really good. I don’t 100% regret it though. I feel alright, I’m not super proud about breaking keto though.

Saturday, April 20th, 2019

I didn’t eat anything at all until I was on the plane, and the plane boarded at 6:40 p.m. I wasn’t very hungry to be honest. I just wanted to go home. Once on the plane I ate a few grapes from the fruit and cheese platter and then I was done, I didn’t eat anything at home either.

Sunday, April 21st, 2019

It was easter and I hadn’t eaten anything in the morning or afternoon due to lack of food in the house, for dinner my grandparents came over and they made food so I didn’t have an option but to eat it, I ate ham, potatoes, and a salad. It tasted really good. I’m not feeling too good about myself because I haven’t done a good job at sticking to keto.

Monday, April 22nd, 2019

I didn’t have time in the morning to eat breakfast or have time to make lunch. When I got home I didn’t eat either. But for dinner we went out to eat with my cousin at Puerto Vallarta. I ate enchiladas verdes. I’m not feeling so good about myself and this keto thing. I swear I’m trying it’s just it’s hard when you’re going through a rough time.

I don’t think I ate the entire day. I’m just not hungry anymore. I feel bad for not eating or doing keto it’s just I’m never hungry anymore.

I didn’t have time to eat breakfast because I woke up super late. For lunch I ate a caesar salad with grilled chicken. When I got home me & a friend cut up a watermelon and I ate about 2 slices. For dinner I had a pork chop with barbeque sauce and green beans. I’m feeling better now that I’m eating, but I’m still not very hungry.

I woke up and ate two scrambled eggs, for lunch I had leftover caesar salad from the day before. For an after school snack I had some almonds and then I went to crossfit. For dinner I had more salad and then I went to bed. I’m so tired all the time and I’m still not mega hungry like I was.

Friday, April 26th, 2019

For breakfast I made myself a strawberry banana smoothie and a scrambled egg. I forgot to pack a lunch so I didn’t get to eat lunch. For an after school snack I ate almonds again. My friends came over that day for a sleepover, and I figured they wouldn’t want to eat a keto dinner even though I insisted it doesn’t taste any different. We settled on pizza and breadsticks, so I broke keto that night but the pizza was surprisingly good for pizza hut, so I don’t fully regret it.

Saturday, April 27th, 2019

I woke up around 10 in the afternoon and was too tired to make a breakfast so I didn’t. After about an hour or so I finally decided to eat something so I ate avocado toast with whole grain bread. It wasn’t very keto but it still kinda was. I ate dinner around 7:00 p.m. as my mom had made lasagna, and I didn’t get a say in wether I wanted to eat it or not. But it tasted really good. I feel bad for breaking keto but I don’t really know what I expected.

Monday, April 29th, 2019

I woke up really late so I didn’t get the opportunity to eat breakfast or make a lunch so I didn’t eat the first half of the day. But once I got home I ate some almonds, then I went to the JV boys baseball game and convinced my friend to let me eat some of the tomatoes at the game. For dinner it was up to me and my dad so that meant more salad. So I had even more, Caesar salad. Somehow I’m not tired of Caesar salad yet, so that’s good.

I didn’t get time in the morning to eat breakfast or to pack a lunch, so I didn’t eat in the morning. For an after school snack I had some rice chips. I had CrossFit that night so I didn’t eat a lot after school. After I got home for dinner I had more rice chips then I went to bed as I was so tired.

I didn’t have time to eat breakfast, or pack a lunch because I keep sleeping in by accident. For an after school snack I had a caesar salad. I had CrossFit that night. But once I got home I immediately fell asleep so I didn’t get time to eat a dinner. I feel good. I just wish I was eating more.

Thursday, May 2nd, 2019

For breakfast I made myself a smoothie with strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries with almond milk instead of regular milk. For lunch I packed grilled chicken and a fruit salad. Once I got home I ate some rice chips because I had CrossFit and I couldn’t eat anything too heavy. When I got home my mom made steak and corn so I ate that for dinner. I feel good about eating every meal the entire day. I don’t feel as tired as I did.
