The Summer Olympics takes place every 4 years in different locations.  It takes the best athletes of every country to compete for the gold medal.  The events that are most famously competed in the summer is swimming, gymnastics, and track and field.  Although these are the most well known events, there are also less well known events such as air rifling and rowing.  The 2020 Summer Olympics will be taking place in Tokyo, Japan starting July 24th and ending August 9th.  Uniquely, this Olympics will be the first appearance as well as a reappearance of some sports. The sports that will be appearing for the first time include Skateboarding, Surfing, Speed climbing, and Karate.
