Are you interested in donating blood to help a cause? On December 9th, HOSA is hosting a blood drive at Peninsula High School. If you’re over the age of 16 and meet all the requirements, you can fill out a form with the help of your parents, to donate blood. Forms can be located at the leadership booth by the commons.

Before donating blood:

• Turn in the signed parent permission form
• Eat well the night before
• Eat a good breakfast
• Stay hydrated
• If you are participating in sports, let you coach know incase you need to sit out of the game or practice.

Requirements:

• You must be 16 years old or older. (Parental consent needed)
• You must weigh 110 lbs or more. 
• You must be in good health and feeling well.
