Seattle is a big and entertaining place to visit, but what are some things you can do in Seattle that are fun for the whole family? Would you recommend visiting Seattle to anyone? Have you done any of this stuff I am about to list? Leave a comment. I would love to know what you have done!

The best thing to do in Seattle is to visit Pioneer Square, Seattle’s oldest neighborhood. It is where the first settlers built their homes when they came to Seattle! It is one of the best places to learn about Seattle’s history in a cool and fun way. You can go to Bill Speidel’s Underground Tour, which is right in Pioneer Square. As the name says, it is an Underground Tour to learn even more about the city’s history through dark tunnels and passageways under the greater Seattle area but watch out because it is rumored to be haunted! 

The second best thing to do in Seattle is to visit the Space Needle, one of the most well-known attractions in Seattle. The Space Needle is one of the tallest buildings, coming in at 605 feet. It was constructed to be part of the 1962 World’s Fair. This landmark is arguably one of the most iconic landmarks in Washington state. Lots of people believe it looks like a flying saucer. What do you think? They added sky risers that tilt the glass walls, creating the illusion of you floating in the open air, and added the Loupe, the world’s first revolving glass floor. There is also an elevator that goes to the top of the needle with the world’s first revolving restaurant. This restaurant has a 360 view of the Seattle skyline. Make sure you save up if you plan to eat there because this restaurant can be quite expensive. 

There are so many fun things to do in Seattle. Other fun places to visit are Pike’s Market Place, the Gum wall, the Seattle Great Wheel, and so much more. I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to pack my bags, take a ferry and explore the city of Seattle!
