Mrs. Hutcheson

Mrs. Hutcheson is a teacher at Peninsula that truly cares about her students. Hutcheson contributes to Peninsula with her “hilarious personality, sarcasm, and hidden endearments…” Lydia Morse, a Sophomore in Hutcheson’s AP World History class said.

Hutcheson teaches World History, AP World History, and AP European History, all of which require large amounts of material memorized and a diligent mindset. The special thing about Hutch, though, is that she connects to her students through her teaching style: valuing both education and mental health. “She always goes around the class to talk to each student individually, which really helps, because she answers my questions. Her willingness to meet each and every student no matter where they are at in order to help them [is what is best about her], as well as her sarcasm and secret love for her students,” Lydia Morse said.

By portraying an honest personality and providing both an educational and safe environment, Mrs. Hutcheson has greatly earned a top spot on Peninsula’s top 20 and in the hearts of her students.
