Upcoming CIP event

The Community Inclusion Program (CIP) is one of the many clubs offered at Peninsula. The club focuses mainly on planning activities for youth of all abilities that encourage new friendships to form between students.

CIP is holding their annual auction this year on April 3, from 5-8 pm in the PHS commons. This years action will be hosted by Josh Van Mechelen, David Salce, and Whitney Jackson, all students of PHS. The proceeds from the auction will not only benefit the club and allow it to continue to support the many activities that it provides for the members but will also go towards senior scholarships and leadership training.

For those that would like to help with the action, donations are being accepted and are needed in order to help this event run smoothly. Donations to the silent or live auction can  range anywhere from arts and crafts to overnight or weekend getaways. All of these things can be used to fill baskets that will be put up for auction. In addition, dessert donations would be gladly appreciated as this will also be a portion of the night.

If you would like to donate an item or have any ideas about items to bring, please talk to Wendy Christiansen, the manager of the club. For donation drop offs please visit room 303 at Peninsula High School.
