Seniors signing National Letters of Intent

Shawn Leonard, Reporter

On Wednesday, November 14th, three senior Seahawk athletes signed their National Letters of Intent to continue onto the next chapters of their careers. Madison Grande and Ali Campigotto will both be playing Division II soccer at Concordia University in Portland and Saint Martin’s University in Lacey. Belle Frazier will be playing Division I basketball at Portland State University.

When Grande was asked why she picked Concordia she said “When I first walked on campus it was a place that felt like and I can see myself there for the next 4 years.”

As for Campigotto on the reason why she signed with Saint Martin’s, she said “It’s a good school academically and their soccer program is on the upward spiral.”

Belle Frazier had a different response when asked why she picked Portland State. She said “The coaches and the team are a family. I know a lot of schools say that, but PSU is really a family and that is very important to me.”

We are proud of these Seahawks and can’t wait to see what they accomplish in the future.
