The 3A SPSL has officially awarded five Peninsula boys basketball players all league honors. All of the league’s basketball coaches came together and voted on the awards. Jimmy Ritchie was awarded first team all league and Austin Kingman was awarded second team all league. Garrett Smith and Garrett Kingman both received SPSL honorary mentions. Lastly, JaQuori McLaughlin was announced as the 3A SPSL MVP for the 2015 season.

Peninsula was the only high school in the league to receive five different awards. Ritchie, A. Kingman, McLaughlin, and G. Kingman are juniors who were awarded and will be returning for the 2016 season. These awards are proof that Peninsula has done well this season and many of their expectations have been fulfilled. With all of this being said, the season still is not over for the boys yet. They are all currently preparing themselves for the first playoff game tonight, February 12th at 7:00.
