Have you ever wanted to be a part of a parade or a celebration held by an amazing community? Lucky for you, many are just a short drive from you. Gig Harbor, Tacoma, and Seattle are just some of the places that have Christmas events. In Gig Harbor, they have a Lighted Car Parade, a Lighted Boat Parade, and Gig Harbor’s Downtown Holiday Cookie Stroll. Tacoma holds A Charlie Brown Christmas and the Ruston Holiday Shopping Gift Market. Seattle is also a hot spot for several Christmas celebrations, including The Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Show.

The Lighted Boat Parade was on December 10th, but take advantage of the Lighted Car Parade happening on December 17th! If you want to join, decorate your car and meet at the Gig Harbor Multicare Parking Lot by 4:00 pm. If you have any questions, click on this link.

At the Tacoma Musical Playhouse, the Camp TMP honor program is putting on a production of “A Charlie Brown Christmas” from December 18th through the 24th. Don’t miss out! You may also join The Ruston Holiday Shopping Gift Market, which involves activities such as raffles. It also includes food and vendors with metaphysical goods. This event will be on December 17th at 10:00 am. Go here to learn more about this event.

Seattle’s Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Show has comedy, songs, and more. The show takes place at the Moore Theater in Seattle, and the tickets start at 35.50, not including fees. It is for all ages, but there is a bar for anyone with a valid ID. DeLa and Jinkx guarantee you an entertaining night, so don’t miss out and join them December 21st through the 24th, Wednesday to Saturday. With so many options for entertainment, you have no excuse to stay inside instead of enjoying time with your community. Even if you don’t have anyone to go with, you will be welcomed with open arms. Nobody wants to be the Grinch of Christmas. Unless parades, food, comedy, and everything else that these events allow you to experience aren’t your thing. However, with so many options, you’re bound to find something you can enjoy. So take a look at the events near you, and have fun this Christmas season!
